2001 aston martin db7 - twinsburg, ohswitchcarstwinsburg, oh 44087ph: 2164530507web: inventory. It's becoming nearly impossible to find a vantage that's not a volante, and at that, one that's a 6-speed manual. This one is both, but it was also sent to aston martin works by the original and only owner in order to have custom upgrades installed, not least of which is a factory rear-seat delete and dymag magnesium wheels. The story and documentation on this car are second to none. The owner originally ordered it as the 5th vantage from aston martin of new england in 1999, and took delivery of it in late 2000 as a 2001 model. Since aston martin could not do a rear-seat delete on the production line and comply with nhtsa standards, the owner had to register it in the usa first, ship it back to the uk, and obtain a temporary registration in wimbledon in order to satisfy aston martin's requirements. He then had the werks department transform the car into a one-off 2-seat coupe with numerous custom touches, receiving the final product at the end of 2002. Every single piece of paperwork is still with the car, including the shipping receipts, communication with the factory, original window sticker, invoice from aston martin lagonda for the upgrades, registration documents and communication with wimbledon, original sales brochures, and more. The car was serviced regularly at aston martin of new england and receipts are included. In 2012 at 59,246 miles the car had a major service which included new tires, oil and filter service, new rotors and pads, complete suspension service including all new bushings, engine mounts, subframe mounts, spring perch pads, and an upgrade to gt shock bushings.
