We have already replaced two tires, replaced the front brake pads and rotors, replaced a seat belt, replaced the water pump, recharged the ac, replaced the a/c compressor, replaced the right axle seal, changed the oil and completed a safety inspection. This truck has an a. Cap with a high roof for extra safety and storage. There's special compartments and shelves to store tools and equipment. It has a v8 engine and rear wheel drive for the power and performance. As a quad cab model the truck has two full doors and two half doors. The cabin opens up wide with a rear bench seat. With the side steps, it's easy to climb in to the cabin. Autocheck's history reporting tool scored the model with 46 points when comparison models scored between 42 and 64 points. Autocheck says there are five previous owners, and autocheck says there's no history with accidents or environmental damage. For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. Up for auction is this, 1998 dodge ram 3500. 5. 9 liter, 24 valve, cummings turbo diesel. This is a 1 million mile engine. It has only 184,500 miles. Chevy's have a lot of injector problems and are very costly to repair. The ford powerstroke's have head gasket problems, that are also very costly to repair. The cummings turbo diesel's are well known to be bullet proof. This motor is backed by the rare, sought after 5 speed manual transmission. The transmission shifts great, and goes right into gear like butter, no slipping or rattles. The new clutch engages right off the floor, with no chattering. The clutch is also very easy to push in. The motor starts right up, no blow by, or heavy oil leaks. The motor sounds great, and is very strong. The truck, is all stock. It never had a tuner on it. Never abused or used for hauling. It never had a 5th wheel on it. It was used to haul a small boat on the weekends. The only aftermarket part is a 4 inch stainless exhaust from the turbo back that sounds amazing... This truck runs and drives very, very tight, no rattles, it hits the biggest bumps smooth, has amazing brakes, and the front end is very tight, no play, or slop in the wheel like most rams. It has new radiator, starter, alternator and exhaust. Everything works as it should, no engine lights are on, or any other lights. It holds great oil pressure, and never gets hot. It gets amazing gas mileage, around 24mpg. The heat blows hot and a. The body is very clean, no rust or rot. The undercarriage is also clean, no rust or rot anywhere. The door bottoms and rockers are clean (no rust) and still have the factory drain plugs. The cab corners are nice. The paint shines very nice. It does have some chips, and a small dent in the bed. It has a factory bedliner, and fiberglass cap. The cap is in good condition. The bumpers are very clean and shine great. The front tires are like new. The rear tires are 50 percent worn. It has the factory polished ram simulator rims. The interior is nice, the dashboard has a small crack. Truck has two new batteries and two sets of mirrors. One thsts shown in pictures and the rate fold out dodge tow mirrors, not pictures. Its hard to find this year truck in this shape. It does have the brake controller and the heavy duty tow package.
